Live updates on Baba Siddique Murder News: Mumbai’s Killa court placed two of the three suspects. Gurmail Singh and Dharmaraj Kashyap, in police custody until October 21 on Sunday.
The court had earlier ordered Kashyap to undergo a bone ossification test. But this was later disproven despite his claims of being a juvenile.
Meanwhile, police also detained a major conspirator.
Pravin Lonkar from Pune, who is reportedly the brother of the person who deleted the social media post linking convicted gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique.

The other defendants include Shivkumar Gautam. A UP resident who is the third suspect in the shooting and remains at large.
Police believe the Bishnoi group hired Mohamed Zeeshan Akhtar from Punjab as a fourth suspect. Giving him the go-ahead to kill Siddique.
Two of the three accused, who were employed by Shubham Lonkar—the individual responsible for the social media post—and Pravin. were detained while working at a Pune scrap yard.
Actor Salman Khan is the prime target of Lawrence Bishnoi, according to an NIA document accessed by India Today. HT can’t verify the claims made in the report.
Khan came under the radar of Bishnoi because of his alleged role in the killing of a blackbuck in 1998. The animal is considered sacred by the Bishnoi community. He had sent a gangster named Sampat Nehra to carry out a recce of Khan’s Mumbai home. The plan could not be carried out because Nehra was arrested by the police. Earlier this year, a group fired outside Khan’s house.
Bishnoi had been monitoring Khan due to his alleged involvement in the 1998 killing of a blackbuck, which the Bishnoi people consider sacred. He sent criminal Sampat Nehra to check on Khan’s house in Mumbai, but the police caught Nehra before they could carry out their plan. Earlier this year, a gang fired shots outside Khan’s home.

Gangster Kaushal Chaudhary is also on the hit list. He is part of the Bambiha gang, the rival gang of Lawrence Bishnoi. His associate, Amit Dagar, was implicated in the murder of Middukhera. He is also on the hit list.
